Road to Fashion at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

The streets of Miami got even hotter for a couple of days for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. The event which started Thursday, July 19th and lasted until Monday the 23rd, had 32 designers showing their 2013 collections alongside the newest Mercedes-Benz convertibles including the stunning and all-new 2013 SL63 AMG.

Playing host to celebrities, bikinis, attractive models, and leading fashion industry swimsuit designers showing off their latest and greatest collection during the five day event, Miami was red-hot. And while in the fashion world, designers creates chic and haute couture pieces, Mercedes-Benz creates fine tuned vehicles of outstanding quality using high-quality materials. At the event, the German automaker rolled out the new sporty and opulent SL63 AMG. The car-itself a testament to high-quality and chic design features premium caliber paints, leathers and trims. The SL63 was showcased in ultra-premium white diamond exterior with a red and black color-blocking luxe leather interior and hand-sewn cross-stitching as well as fiber trim.

Chic and stylish collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, included the Sotto Resort Collection, by Colombian fashion designer, Claudia Sotto. The Sotto Resort collection was specially designed for the Miami woman that wants to be bold, sexy and sophisticated. Featuring lots of colors, animal prints, different textures that looked perfectly seductive and created a collection that had a stylish yet edgy feel that accentuated the beauty of the female silhouette. Each striking item was embroidery with the highest attention to detail by hand,ensuring that each piece is unique and it showed on the runway as the models walked by.

Claudia Sotto forms a part of a new generation of Colombian designers that have flourished over the last years. Her signature sexy looks attracting women and men in Colombia to her stores where her work as a designer dazzles. Sotto, has shown her capacity and versatility designing both clothes for women and men in her tenure as a Fashion Designer. Furthermore, she admits to having an obsession for detail and follows carefully the design process that starts with an idea, to thoughtful fabric choices to achieve the best end product.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, was all that it its name describes. With plenty of champagne, models, designers, fashion elite, and most importantly: talent, the event was exciting from beginning to end. What else could you want?
